We believe that now more than ever is the time to unite in prayer for NYC. Just as Nehemiah was tasked to rebuild the walls of his city amid the enemy trying to keep it torn down, we feel God inviting us again to build His church and to build the wall of prayer in our city.

In Nehemiah 4, as they were building the wall, the enemy sent whispers in the camp of Israel (Neh 4:12), taunting them of certain destruction and that the walls would remain down (Neh 4:3, 4:11). But Nehemiah declared, (Neh 4:13-21 paraphrased) “we will continue to work, and as we build half will be on the watch at night.” And so they built and they watched and what was impossible, what he was “unqualified” for, what couldn’t be done in 70 years was rebuilt in just over 50 days. (Neh 6:15).

We are gathering together once every quarter to watch and pray from 6 PM to 6 AM. We will minister to the Lord together with ministries across the region and we will call the city back to the place of prayer asking God to bring a culture of prayer to His church.
